Saturday night, Papa and Grandma Kathy had planned a great Christmas party for all of our family. They went to a lot of work and we all had a lot of fun. The dinner was delicious, the decorations were beautiful (great job Barnes Sisters) The program was really fun with all the kids having special parts, playing instruments and one spanish Christmas rendition even included guitar playing, mustache wearing boys! After some laughing and singing...Santa arrived. Each of the kids sat on his lap one by one. Meghan, Aleigh, Lindsey and Ricky all sat on Santa's lap together...poor Santa, hope he'll heal up by Christmas Eve. I listened in close to hear what they were asking for. All that I heard was something about wanting a "cute boy" and then Ricky quickly jumping in saying "not me Santa, I want a cute girl!" Some of the kids were happier to meet Santa up close and personal. Others, not so much! We had a really fun evening. All the kids received a little gift from Santa and a treat gift from Papa and Kathy and each family took home a cute new Christmas cookie jar...filled with Cookies Kelsey had gotten from where she works...Paradise Bakery! We had a fun night, of Music, Food, Fun and lots of Laughs. Matt can still really dance..Nice rhythm:)
