29 again...for 16 times...(Really?) Happy bday Mom!

Oh my goodness! Why is it that birthday's for grown-ups, come around more often than birthdays for children's do? It just isn't right! Friday was my birthday and although it is the first birthday that age has ever "bothered" me, I made it through it! (It was a close one-haha) Thanks to my girls and a couple of friends (ok 1) and a couple of calls from family (ok 1) and a couple visits from family (ok 1) with the exception that by mid-afternoon, as the girls saw this "I can't believe I am 45 years old"-blank stare on my face, and began to become increasingly worried, they decided to call and beg the Schmidts to join us for dinner so someone would be there besides just us 4 girls. (Bub was working but came to our house after work for cake that Brynnlee had made-not just 1 but 2 homemade cakes). The fun of that restaurant visit was my favorite little guy was there so I got to sit by him and as a result, had hamburger pieces flying into my hair, as well as other delicious food and ended with a drink dumped over which then so carefully poured down through the center of the crack on the table and went directly into my shoe...it was the happiest birthday! Actually, what really mattered to me, is that I had the MOST important people in the world there with me....my 3 beautiful daughters!! Thanks girls for making momma's birthday a nice one. Kelsey's boyfriend joined us for the celebration as well! We initiated him by singing the "Walker Happy Birthday" song! It was one of our best....COMPLETELY OFF-TUNE....YOU HAVE GOTTA LOVE IT!

Happy Birthday Ang! Better late than never, right?? Well, I can only empathize since I've got you beat year wise. It is kind of weird when you realize how old you are and that you still feel young! I think none have really bothered me yet because I am in denial but the sound of 50 is awful!
I feel like i should have a blog along with facebook and the rest of the world...maybe after our move I will. Have you heard that we are moving to St. George? This next week. Life just keeps rolling on for us. hopefully we'll get to see you more often this way. I know you are so busy with work, being a mom and church but we'll try. You girls are beautiful1

Lots of love,

Ali
